Wow! You’ve just written our story about Lily! I documented it on our blog (back in Sept.) Exact same thing ~ C2-C3. Same scar, etc… Glad to hear all is going well. Our Lily is back 100% today!

I am a true blue Dachshund lover and I just found your blog. Your doxies are adorable! I have lost both my dachshunds, my male at the age of 10 and my female at the age of 17 1/2. Both were on prednisone at some point (one for the back and one for the neck) and luckily, only had the HUGE appetite, no other side effects. We do have other dogs now but they can’t replace the dachshunds :)

Ashas, I’m so sorry you have to wear that icky cone. You do look pretty darn cute sleeping upside down in it though. I like to sleep on my back too ;o) Hope you get rid of it soon!!!

Believe me, if I could change this I would! I would much rather she cause me the discomfort because then she would at least be sleeping with me. :’(
